Claron Alldredge, M.D.

Dr. Claron Alldredge, a Utah native, received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Utah. He completed his Ophthalmology Residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and went on to continue his training in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery with Associated Retinal Consultants at William Beaumont Hospital, in Royal Oak, Michigan, in a fellowship program that is considered the top retina fellowship in the country. Dr. Alldredge has been an investigator in numerous clinical research projects that guide the treatment of retinal diseases today. After practicing in Nevada and Michigan, he returned to Utah in 2006. He currently serves as Chairman of the Division of Ophthalmology at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City. Dr. Alldredge was the founder of the Vitreoretinal surgery program at Davis Hospital and Medical Center in Layton. Dr. Alldredge is board certified in Ophthalmology, a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists.

Bradley Anderson, M.D.

Seeing the world from different perspectives, enjoying breath-taking landscapes, and meeting new people are just a few of the things Dr. Anderson enjoys.

Born and raised in Layton, Utah, he is delighted to be back in the mountains. He attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude earning a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences with a minor in Chemistry. He holds his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In addition to his medical practice, he is also a Captain in the Army National Guard, which he joined shortly after starting medical school. He completed his residency in Ophthalmology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. He most recently was in private practice in Pocatello Idaho, and is excited to come back home to Salt Lake City.

Dr. Anderson is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist, and enjoys most performing cataract and refractive surgery with advanced technology including premium lenses, laser-assisted surgery, and other refractive surgeries. He also enjoys eyelid surgery, glaucoma, corneal diseases, and medical retina. He has published in peer reviewed journals and presented papers and posters at national ophthalmic meetings.

Dr. Anderson pursued a career in medicine because he loves people and wanted to help them in some capacity. He thoroughly enjoys listening to people and helping to improve or restore people’s sight. During his residency, he provided medical and surgical care to underserved populations in Kenya and plans to continue international work. He speaks Spanish, which he learned on a LDS Mission to Panama.

When Dr. Anderson is not practicing medicine, he enjoys Alpine and waterskiing, canyoneering, hiking, spending time with family, and playing a wide variety of sports as well as attending musicals and local cultural events.

Michael Bullard, M.D.

Dr. Mike Bullard, was raised in Davis County. He received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah, where he was awarded multiple scholarships and honors, including the Academic All American for Men’s Tennis. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Iowa Carver College Of Medicine in 2009. His residency in Ophthalmology was completed at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center where he remained to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology from 2013-2014. He graduated in the top 1% of his class and received numerous awards from both peer recognition and academically. Dr. Bullard is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, and the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. Dr. Bullard joined the team at Utah Eye Centers in 2014 and is the only full-time Pediatric Ophthalmologist in Weber and Davis Counties. He enjoys correcting children’s vision as well as helping adults who struggle with strabismus. He is also interested in orthoptic training, strabismus measurements and treatments for amblyopia. When he is not helping patients he is with his wife and children enjoying skiing, camping and outdoor activities.

Devin Farr, O.D.

Dr. Devin Farr, from Kaysville Utah, finished his undergraduate degree at Weber State University and received his Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry. As a student at the Southern California College of Optometry he completed a residency at the Salt Lake VA Hospital in primary care and specialty contact lenses. Dr. Farr is a member of the Utah Optometric Association and the American Academy of Optometry, and is currently serving as an adjunct faculty member at the Pacific University College of Optometry. Dr. Farr joined the Utah Eye Centers in 2013, bringing with him his expertise in contact lens technology. He currently specializes in primary care and contact lenses, including difficult lens fittings for those with keratoconus and corneal transplants. He enjoys using the current contact lens technologies to provide patients with great vision who have not been able to experience 20/20 before. He is always looking ahead at technology advances especially in sclera lenses. He enjoys reading, watching movies, going to the Real Salt Lake soccer games and playing the guitar. He resides in Davis County with his wife and kids.

Dr. David Griffin is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who enjoys treating the full spectrum of ophthalmic disease and evaluating all eye care needs. He has a keen interest in cataract and refractive surgery and offers the latest advances in surgical eye care including advanced technology lens implants to address surgical correction of astigmatism and presbyopia. He also offers laser-assisted cataract surgery, LASIK, PRK, ICL, refractive lens exchange, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and more.

Dr. Griffin, an Idaho native, graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University and holds his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Central Florida where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha and Gold Humanism Honor Societies. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the nationally recognized Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City and has published and presented research at major ophthalmic conferences around the country.

Isha Gupta, M.D.

Dr. Isha Gupta completed her medical education at the University of Utah School of Medicine, and her residency at the Baylor College of Medicine Cullen Eye Institute where she received the Schindler Award for the highest humane and ethical standards. She finished her ophthalmology studies at the University of Miami, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute with a glaucoma fellowship. She earned many scholarships and recognitions and has authored and co-authored numerous publications. She continues to enjoy volunteering and conducting research.

Dr. Gupta is Board Certified and specializes in glaucoma and cataract surgery. She enjoys helping patients and individualizing treatment plans. As Utah Eye Centers glaucoma specialist, she will be instrumental working with the optometric community to aid in glaucoma patient management. Dr. Gupta will incorporate premium surgical techniques and technology to include the utilization of cataract technologies including, Femto second laser and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). She has a passion for the unusual cases and applying her surgical skills.

Dr. Gupta enjoys running, traveling, and trying all the new restaurants in town!

Brock Hansen, M.D.

Dr. Brock Hansen was born and raised in Draper, Utah. He attended Brigham Young University where he played football and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Southwestern in 2014. He went on to complete his residency in Ophthalmology and a fellowship in Cornea Surgery, Refractive Surgery and External disease at UT Southwestern.

Dr. Hansen performs all types of cornea transplants: PKP, DALK, DSAEK and DMEK. He is also proficient in corneal crosslinking. He enjoys treating dry eye and infections as well as perfecting vision with laser precision through cataract surgery or LASIK.

Dr. Hansen has written a book chapter for an International Ophthalmology review book, published articles in peer reviewed journals, and spoken multiple times at national ophthalmology meetings.

Intrigue with ophthalmology began for Dr. Hansen after LASIK surgery on his own eyes 15 years ago at the Utah Eye Centers. It has now come full circle for him. Dr. Hansen enjoys seeing a variety of conditions and the many treatments available for cornea diseases. He is bilingual which helps him see a greater number of patients, having learned Spanish in Venezuela on a 2-year mission. He enjoys snow and waterskiing, golfing, travel, and spending time with his wife and five children.

Jamie Monroe, M.D.

Dr. Jamie Monroe is a board certified ophthalmologist with more than 25 years of experience. She performed a fellowship in cataract and glaucoma surgery at the University of Utah and has had positions at the University of Utah and Vanderbilt University training other eye surgeons. She performs a variety of surgical eye procedures and helps each patient tailor a plan for a lifetime of vision. Recent technologies give patients even more choices than before.

Dr. Monroe performs more than 2,000 eye surgeries annually. Her calm demeanor and precision in all aspects of surgery are qualities her patients appreciate. Dr. Monroe has a way of making you comfortable and assured before, during and after your surgical eye procedure. With all of her patients, she is committed to making sure they have the best experience possible while achieving excellent vision results. Dr. Monroe is based in Orem at the main surgical headquarters. She also provides Refractive Surgeries at centers in Vernal, Utah and Jackson Wyoming.

Dr. Jed Poll, is from South Weber, Utah. He graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his ophthalmology residency training at the Cullen Eye Institute, Baylor College of Medicine. Following residency, Dr. Poll stayed at the Cullen Eye Institute and went on to complete additional fellowship training in Cosmetic Eyelid and Reconstructive Surgery under the direction of Dr. Michael T. Yen. While in medical school he received numerous honors including student of the year as well as numerous chapters and articles published in medical texts and journals. He specializes in facial plastic surgery such as eyelid lifts (blepharoplasty), Botox, Juvederm as well as LASIK and Cataract Surgery. He loves the variety in his job between seeing general ophthalmology patients as well as providing improvements for patients with his reconstructive surgical talents. He is certified on numerous lasers and takes a special interest in the available technologies. When he is not at the clinic he is usually with his wife golfing and enjoying the outdoors.

Scott Sykes, M.D.

Dr. Scott Sykes, a Utah native, is an honors graduate of the famed Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and University of California at San Francisco, as well as Brigham Young University. He served on the Board of Trustees and as President of the Utah Ophthalmology Society. He also serves on the teaching faculty for both The University of Utah and Weber State University. A pioneer in new and developing technologies, he was among the first surgeons in the country to perform LASIK, multifocal lens implants and femtosecond assisted cataract surgery. He has particular interest in complex Cataract surgery, LASIK surgery, and other elective vision correction procedures. He is an expert in diseases of the cornea and is very interested in treatment options for presbyopia. He finds satisfaction in helping patients see better by restoring their vision. Dr. Sykes is an accomplished marathon runner, skier and mountain biker, staying very busy with his wife and children as well as participating in humanitarian trips.

Dr. Mike Wilcox, is from Davis County and graduated from Weber State University. He then earned his degree from the Medical University of South Carolina with honors as well as receiving many scholarships, awards and recognitions including national recognition for his research in ocular lens implants. He completed his Ophthalmology Residency at the University of Utah, where he now teaches surgery to resident Ophthalmologists as an adjunct professor. Dr. Wilcox is one of the few select surgeons who instructs other surgeons worldwide with the latest technologies and refinements in the cataract advancements at the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery conference every year. Dr. Wilcox enjoys general eye care with a special interest in cataract surgery and refractive options and glaucoma. He loves the difference he can make in his patients’ lives by improving their vision. He recently has been recognized as one of the top 100 LASIK surgeons in the nation. Lately he has been interested in researching the pathology of lens materials and new lens technologies. When he is not busy with patients and helping our vast network of Optometrists, you will find him with his family enjoying the outdoors. Dr. Wilcox is also an accomplished instrument rated pilot.

Court R. Wilkins, O.D.

Dr. Court Wilkins, joined the Utah Eye Centers as one of our practicing Optometrists in the fall of 2014. Originally from Bountiful, Utah, Dr. Wilkins and his family are thrilled to be back in Utah. A proud veteran of over 23 years in service, Dr. Wilkins served in both the Army and the Air Force. His military experience has sent him all over the world in serving our veterans and military personnel as one of the top-rated Optometrists. He graduated from Pacific University for Optometry school and received additional specialty training in primary care, ocular diseases, laser certifications and anterior segments. He also received a master’s degree in emergency and disaster management. Dr. Wilkins is very interested in research of the cornea interior segment and disease management. He has served as an adjunct professor at multiple Universities all over the United States. He enjoys being an Optometrist because it allows his patients to have options with their vision. When he is not at one of our clinics he is busy with his wife, children, and grandchildren enjoying the outdoors.
